While I am here by Eric Nunnally

It never mattered whose love
Because God is so big
I'd never pick one tree over a forest
Or I'd be stuck right here
In love with roots
That would never take me anywhere
Never let me know anything
But what came to me

So I journey
My mind blessed by my soul
By my feet
Taking me to every wonder under heaven
Showing me that all are one
And I can not love the moon more than the stars
Or the grass more than the flowers
Or the valley more than the hill
Because one is all

Knowing life to be bigger
And wanting to live life

So where I rest, I love
Deeply and passionately
Appreciating the beauty that will not last
Which makes it beautiful
Making me love it all the more
While I am here

And if I ever come this way again
What a beautiful surprise
To get to know you all over again
In the spice of memory
And the freedom of familiarity

Here I am
Let me love you and
Love me while I am here
