I only have eyes for you by Eric Nunnally

Who can resist this moon

Be in love with me
Like there was never anything you wanted more

Find something in my eyes
You recognize
And rest yourself from want

Look inside yourself
And discover me waiting quietly for you

Touch my hand and tremble
With a rush of butterflies
Because these fingertips love you

Dance with me under the stars
As if it were your last night on earth

And you can hide in the warmth of my heart
And be safe in my love for you

Close your eyes and kiss me softly
As if kissing for the first time
And melt in the sweetness of my lips

Feel me breathe, pressed against me
And hear our love echo through the night air
A hauntingly romantic feeling
Caressing your soul
And drawing you closer to me
Who wants nothing more
Than to be with you right now

We don't have to wait for ever
Nor to be victims of circumstance
Or by chance discover some
Unexplained magic
Precipitated by a loneliness
Drinking from a glass
Poured from an empty bottle…

Just clear your mind
With the soft winds of a summer night
And unclothe your needs
Before my love

Let me see the starlight in your eyes
And adore the glow of the full moon
Upon your loveliness

Know that my heart beats for you
And we could stay up here all night
Up on the roof
Under a crowd of heavenly host
Smiling down upon us

This is a moment for a lifetime
Of sweet remembrances
For there is no one else in the world
But you

And as we sway beneath a canopy of angel dust
I only have eyes for you…
