Farewell by Eric Nunnally

I have wandered through the mist
Blinded by the white fog of my unseen destiny
Blessed each step
And every sharp stone that cut into my feet
Fearing the emptiness before me
Yet driven by a divine purpose
To embrace the unknown

In my mind, dread clung to me
As my ears listened for the silence of the cliff
Which never came

Coming out of the dream
The sun kissed my face
And I beheld the lands before me
Uncharted territory
Rich with opportunity for adventure
A heavenly promise
Revealing my today
